In a first for the Australian performance auto market, Walkinshaw Performance (WP) today unveiled two new warranties as part of the launch of a range of enhancements designed for the tuning market.

The no cost warranty option is available to purchasers of the new supercharger, fitted by an authorised WP fitment centre, providing the vehicle is still under new vehicle warranty.

National Sales Manager Tony Harris said WP had listened to feedback from customers who were after peace of mind as well as performance upgrades.

“This is a groundbreaking announcement and gives customers tremendous confidence when purchasing a WP supercharger,” he said.

“WP has always been known for the quality craftsmanship and performance capabilities of our products – now we can also tick the box for providing certainty.”

“In the rare event an issue arises it will be dealt with by our team.”

WP will also provide a low cost warranty option for customers purchasing the new WP ‘power pack’ upgrade, inclusive of catback exhaust, cold air intake and ECU recalibration, at a price of $660.

Tony Harris said 2010 would be a big year for WP with the roll-out of a range of new products from the company’s new Clayton Business Park location.
